ALLI MAUZEY explains the unique and exciting process of developing a role for the first time through her work with the Broadway Musical “Cry Baby” – From reading a script for the first time, practicing with a piano, to performing in front of an audience.

As an actress from Anaheim Hills, California, ALLI MAUZEY made her Broadway debut as Brenda in Hairspray in 2003. Her “big break” came when she starred as Lenora in the Broadway musical Cry Baby for which she won a Theatre World Award and was nominated for a Drama League Award. She currently plays the role of Glinda in Wicked on Broadway. She also played the same role on Broadway from April 17 to October 7, 2007, in the first national touring cast.
