Underwritten by Apples and Oranges Arts, there is no cost to the participants and no percentage of ownership of the show. This phase of the program is free.
A pitch session where participants present their shows to theatre and tech industry veterans. This helps guide the shows towards the next step in their trajectory.
Apples and Oranges Arts develops a custom 12-week roadmap for your show. Built on the foundation discovered in Phase I, we refine and enhance the story while simultaneously defining and enhancing the brand.
We provide the financial resources to foster the entrepreneurial process. We “Take the Starving out of Artist” to foster the start-up culture and accelerate the creative process.
To keep the ecosystem finically sustainable Apples and Oranges Arts retains a percentage of ownership following the same model as the tech industry.

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization operating the state-of-the-art performing arts center in downtown Orlando, Florida. With its opening in November 2014, the performing arts center launched its vision of Arts For Every Life by being a gathering place for creativity and discovery; a vibrant urban destination where artists, audiences and students come to experience, explore and learn. The two-block community destination features the 2,700-seat Walt Disney Theater, 300-seat Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, Seneff Arts Plaza, Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts, the DeVos Family Room, and other event rental spaces. Future expansion includes Steinmetz Hall, a 1,700-seat acoustical theater, along with rehearsal, classroom, office space and commercial development spaces.
